In Kingsport, celebrate the “good old days” with traditional entertainment that can only be found in the hills of East Tennessee! The Folklife Festival, scheduled for July 31, is filled with old-time music, games and more. Life-skills activities and contests will be featured at the event and is sure to be a great time for the whole family to enjoy.
There’s no better way to celebrate summer than at Homecoming Days in Celina. Now through July 31, the event will feature activities fit for everyone, including the jovial hillbilly lawn mower parade, craft markets, quilt show, live music and much more.
What’s summer without a little ice cream? The Downtown Ice Cream Social in Paris is an all-you-can-eat ice cream extravaganza held July 31 along the streets of historic downtown Paris. So grab a spoon and save some room for what will possibly be the biggest brain freeze all summer.
Whatever you do, stay cool and have some fun in Tennessee this weekend.
